Online dating is one of those social taboos that no one ever wants to talk about or admit to, but secretly wonder about. The couples take themselves very seriously, which is exactly why commercials for these services end up being hilarious. We get sucked into them, feeling sorry for (but secretly curious about) the people who stand before us and confess to committing the ultimate social suicide.

Setting out to create a mockumentary-style misdirect for Coupons.com, director Anthony Furlong worked to first make this story believable so we expect we are watching a commercial for a real dating site.
